Financing Rejected

The bank has rejected the application. What needs to change now?

A new application is only sensibly prepared once the previous objection is understood. We review the feedback, business plan, figures, and financing structure together and distinguish between gaps that can be addressed and fundamental obstacles.

Before making a new enquiry

The feedback is the starting point.

1

Secure the bank’s reasoning.

2

Compare the submitted plan and figures.

3

Address specific gaps.

A new application alone does not change the initial situation.

Rejection analysis

A rejection must be turned into a concrete checklist.

For founders and businesses after a rejection or after queries that cannot be answered with the existing documents.

01

What was actually objected to?

Collect the written feedback and meeting notes. ‘The bank does not believe in the idea’ is not a sufficient diagnosis.

02

Are the figures plausible?

Check revenue assumptions, ongoing costs, reserves, and repayment. Missing or contradictory information can only be resolved with reliable data.

03

Is the project viable in this form?

Sometimes the investment volume, schedule, or financing mix needs to be adjusted. Not every rejection can be resolved by better wording.

From enquiry to the next step

This is our approach.

  1. 01

    Read the feedback

Record the actual reason for rejection given.

  2. 02

    Check documents

    Compare concept, figures, and evidence.

  3. 03

    Address weaknesses

Add missing information and justify assumptions.

  4. 04

    Choose the next step

Only then prepare a new enquiry or alternatives.

Your preparation

You can bring the following.

  • Previous application including business and financial plan
  • Rejection letter, queries, and meeting notes
  • Cost quotations, own funds, and current company figures
  • Description of what has changed since the application
Our specific work

We will work on this with you.

  • Combine objections from feedback and documents
  • Identify technical and calculation gaps
  • Revise planning and financing concept if necessary
  • Prepare a new enquiry with comprehensible changes
We do not promise approval after a rejection. First, it must be clarified which obstacles can be influenced.

Frequently asked questions

Should I simply approach the next bank?

Another bank may assess differently. Nevertheless, you should first understand whether the same open points would arise there.

Can AI improve the rejected plan?

New wording alone does not resolve incorrect assumptions or financing gaps. What matters are the specific data and the justification for the changes.

Is there a comparable client case?

In the published case Acolyne, X-Group reports previous bank rejections and later financing after revising the business plan. This is an individual case and not a guarantee of results.

What does working together cost?

The initial consultation is free of charge. For further services, scope and costs are agreed before engagement. Whether funding is possible depends on your case and the necessary approval.

What happens after I submit my enquiry?

In the financing check, you describe your current situation. In a personal discussion, outstanding points and the required documents are clarified. Afterwards, it can be determined which work is appropriate.

Can I start with incomplete documents?

Yes. Bring any drafts you have and a list of your open questions. Missing information and assumptions will be explicitly identified and added as the process continues.

Let’s clarify your next step.
